Rule 1. Treat other members and their opinions with courtesy and respect. Absolutely no name-calling, confrontational posts, or comments that insult, put down, or ridicule other posters and their opinions (such as stating that someone's argument is "stupid," "crazy," or "lame," accusing another poster of dishonesty, or saying that someone who holds a particular viewpoint is "blind," "deluded," "in denial," etc.). Also prohibited are comments that insult someone based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation or sexual identity.
Rule 2. We do not allow spamming on this board for the explicit reason of raising your
post count. Posting in numerous threads with the same message or posting nothing but a smiley (emote) constitutes as spam.
You will receive one written warning from a staff member if you are caught spamming. If you continue to spam, your thread will be locked and you will be banned from the offending forum(s) without any further notice for the period of two weeks.
If you spam, or what is constituted to be spam by the staff of this board, in any other forum during your temporary banning, or at any time following, you will be permanently banned from this board.
It is the sole discretion of this board and its staff to determine what does or what does not constitute as spam. If you aren't sure, do not post it! (Or you can ask).
Rule 3. Be respectful toward the cast and staff of the shows. Criticism of someone's work is fine, but
personal insults are unacceptable, as is gossip and innuendo about the private lives of actors, producers, writers, etc.
Rule 4. Do not post sexually explicit material (images, text, links or videos) in threads.
Rule 5. Please make sure your signature size conforms to MW's standards. Check the Signatures Rules thread for the image size restrictions
and testing.
Rule 6. Do not mention trolls or troll activities, or bring in conflicts, arguments, or complaints from other boards or online communities.
If you have a problem, the moderators are here to help. If you feel that another poster is being rude, disrespectful or confrontational, or otherwise violating
board rules, do not try to "handle the problem" yourself; alert a moderator either in the thread or by personal message. The Mods are listed under
the name of each forum.
We prefer to resolve all problems with board members in a friendly fashion. However, blatant and repeated violations of the rules -- which amount to violations
of the rights of other board members -- will result in sanctions up to banning from the board.
